OUR STORY

Whitby Jet Designs manufactures beautiful Whitby Jet Jewellery set in solid sterling silver.

At Whitby Jet Designs we collect all of our own Whitby Jet from the shores local to the Whitby area.
We can therefore guarantee the Jet is from Whitby and quality giving our customers the confidence that they are purchasing genuine Whitby Jet jewellery.

Runswick Bay is one of the Yorkshire Coast's prettiest destinations. The sandy beach, which once provided anchorage for brightly coloured fishing boats, is now a family favourite for rock pooling, fossil hunting and coastal walks

All of our extensive range of Whitby Jet jewellery is handmade and crafted in our workshop. All of the sterling silver settings and chains we supply are guaranteed to meet UK quality standards. We do not source silver from Asia as we want to give our customer the best quality jewellery.

We are continually expanding our range of products shown on this website and if you cannot find what you want please let us know.

We also have a range of jewellery that combines Whitby Jet with a different types of shells such as Blue Abalone, Pink Abalone and Amber.

Our range of handcrafted Whitby jet jewellery is available to purchase through this website and various craft fairs throughout North Yorkshire as well as a few select distributors in the region.

We accept commissions for bespoke pieces or alterations to existing jewellery and often remove stones and replace them with Whitby Jet. Please Email us at whitbyjetdesigns@outlook.com.
